In Indore there are many private medical colleges for MBBS and annual fee for the course varies from college to college in the range of Rs. 6 lakh to 13 lakh. While choosing a private medical college, you should keep these important things in mind.
Firstly the college shouldn’t be very new. It should be at least 5–6 years old because in new colleges the standard of education is low and professors may be inexperienced.
The fees should be reasonable. It is not beneficial to take admission in colleges where the annual fees are higher than Rs. 10 lacs. It’d be a better option to take a drop and work hard for one more year for an admission in government medical college.
Most important is that you should check recognition of the college by Medical council of India. You can always use Toppr, if you’re looking for previous year papers, practice questions, test series or even a platform to solve your doubts instantly.
who have passed 10+2 exam with physics, chemistry and biology(Zoology & Botany) are eligible for admission into MBBS course. Student must be an Indian National for admission through All India Entrance Exam (NEET). Student should have completed 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission. Student should get Qualifying score in NEET exam.
The MBBS admission process for the medical institutions present in India is based on the common entrance exam National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET ). The students have to appear for the NEET examination and clear the exam with the required cut off to participate in the Counseling process. The MBBS admission process is controlled by the National Board of Examination (NBE).
The key highlights about the counseling process are,
The ratio of the number of students applying for the admission process is four times that of the number of MBBS seats available in Indian medical colleges. The students who have cleared the NEET exam with high scores are able to get admission to their dream college. There are students who have cleared NEET with eligible cut off but not able to secure admission in the Medical institutions are given with an option to go for the direct admission process. The private medical institutions will be allocated with management quota seats, which the colleges can fill on their own.
